8 Days Best Cambodia Tour

Angkor Wats and Cambodia have been my absolute favorite destinations and I have been wanting to see and explore these two places for a very long time. While planning for a trip we finally decided to tick this place off our list. Moreover, VISA laws are not at all tough. We got in touch with the TravelTriangle team who took care of all our things. They started making our itinerary and finally, we were ready to go our 8 days in Cambodia.

Breakfast is served at your hotel and then head for the “Great City” of Angkor Thom, home to the famous Bayon TempleElephant Terrace and other exquisite relics.

In the afternoon, proceed to the Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, and Phnom Bakheng Temple, which is the best place to view the Angkor Wat in the sunset. In the evening. Enjoy the Apsara Dinner Show at Angkor Village Resort this evening.

Day 3 Angkor Temples

If you wish, head to Angkor Wat this morning to enjoy the amazing sunrise and stay in close contact with the monks and nuns at the nearby pagodas; you can have breakfast at the hotel or takeaway restaurant and then visit Banteay Srei on the way Some local villages stopped to discover the joy of country life from the villagers.

After lunch, taste exquisite architecture at Ta Prohm and Takeo temples and trace Khmer myths and legends. At the end of the tour, you will also have time to take a relaxing walk.

Day 4 Tonle Sap Lake, Siem Reap – Battambang

This morning, visit Khmer villages and admire the fresh air of rice fields and many palm trees. After that, board the boat at Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. In the afternoon, drive to Battambang (about 3-4 hours). Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend some leisure time.

Day 5 Battambang Sightseeing & Bamboo Train Ride

Today, explore the charming city of Battambang where you can watch the elegant houses in the French-colonial style along the river. Visit the Provincial Museum and the pagoda before heading to the temple of Wat Ek Phnom built in the 11th century.

In the afternoon, drive about 1 hour to the hill of Phnom Bannon and climb to the mountaintop to see the temple of Prasat Bannon built in the 7th century. Later, experience a bamboo train ride passing by rice paddies and stunning scenery, followed by a visit to a local village to discover rural life and a workshop to see wooden sculptures.

Day 6 Battambang – Phnom Penh

Royal Palace of Cambodia in Phnom Penh City

Take a private car to Phnom Penh via Kompong Chhnang and Oudong. Along the way, you will pass a pottery village known for pottery making and Kompong Loung floating village. You can also make a stopover in Oudong, Cambodia’s former capital, where you can see many ancient stupas on the Wadong mountain in Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, check into the hotel and enjoy some free time.

Day 7 Phnom Penh City Tour

Royal Grand Palace Bangkok

Start to discover Phnom Penh with a visit to the Royal Palace, the landmark of Phnom Penh, and then visit the Silver Pagoda, whose floor is made up of 5000 silver tiles, National Museum and Wat Phnom, the city’s most visited temple. In the afternoon, head to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Killing Fields of Choeung EK. This evening is free at leisure on your own.

Day 8 Phnom Penh, Departure
