14 Days Vietnam Walking Tour from Ho Chi Minh City to The North

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival

Arrive at Saigon airport, take a rest and relax. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh flight to Danang ( B )

Morning visit Cu Chi tunnel with a bit walking,  Pm transfer to airport for flight to Da Nang. Arrival Da Nang after 1-hour flight pick-up at DaNang airport, then transfer to hotel ( 45 minutes) Overnight in hotel in Hoi An

Day 3: Hoian. Easy walking (B, L) ( 2 hours walking )

Take a short drive to the riverside town of Hoian for a walking tour ( 2 hours ) of this ancient trading port. During a walking tour visit a traditional Chinese Communal House, a Hokkien temple, ancient merchants’ houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful local market. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 4: Hoi An walking (B, L) ( 4 hours walking )

In the morning takes a walking tour to explore Hoi a the countryside in Kim Bong,  take a peaceful boat, trip on the Thu Bon River back to the hotel, and afterward enjoy free time to further explore the old town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: HoiAn – walking -Tra Que village  ( 3 hours ) (B, L)

In the morning, Depart from your hotel in Hoian at 8:00 AM, you will drive to Tra Que Vegetable Village (3kms far from Hoian town). It is time for you to experience a day of living and working with the local farmers in this village. A walking tour  ( 2 hours )of the organic vegetable and herb gardens can include some time working in the field if you like, or merely observing and learning about the system and the fresh ingredients. Back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight in  Hoi An

Day 6: Hoi An- Hue  (B, L)

Depart at your hotel in Hoian at 8:00 AM, you will drive north to  – Hue, you will pass through the countryside of Hai Van pass and  Lang Co lagoon. Afternoon you can visit for 2 hours walking in Hue Royal Palace then going to Hotel. Overnight in a hotel in Hue.

Day 7: Hue visit- night flight to Hanoi ( B, L )

In the morning takes a walking tour to visit the Tu Duc King mausoleum after lunch transfer to Airport then take a flight to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Halong bay : (B, L, D)

Breakfast then driving to Halong Bay: Discover two incredible stalagmite caves on limestone mountain:8 .30 am: Meet at Hotel, guide of the cruise company pick up you at the hotel. Drive to Halong City (3.5 hrs) thru the Red River Delta with its verdant farmland dotted with local villages. Welcome aboard. Set sail through the breathtaking scenery of the Bay while lunch is served in her gourmet restaurant. Visit the incredible stalagmite cave of Sung Sot on lime Stone Mountain. Sunset cruise to serene Bai Tu Long Bay to see such amazing karsts of different formations as Cong Troi, Hang Buom, Yen Ngua, and Human Head. Enjoy a great sunset dinner in our ambient restaurant. Chat with your fellow travelers in the bar or go night fishing before retiring to the comfort of your cabin., Overnight on a cruise.

Day 9: Discover Halong Bay- Hanoi – Night Train to Sapa : (B, L)

At sunrise, enjoy Taichi exercise yourself. International breakfast is served while cruising to the other areas of Bai Tu Long Bay. Embark on a bamboo sampan rowed by a local girl to explore the fascinating floating fishing village. We will visit local houses, fish farms, and schools. Back on a boat of a traditional junk, gourmet lunch will be served whilst the Cruiser keeps on its route through the Bay back to Halong City. Check out after 11:30 before returning to the Jetty for transfer to the private coach back to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel. Relax and take an overnight train to Sapa.

Day 10: Lao Cai-Sapa – SinChai- Sapa (8km) intermediate Trek, 4 hours (B, L)

The train arrives at Lao Cai railway station around 06: 00. Relax for a while at a local restaurant for Breakfast then pick up and transfer to O-Quy- Ho ( 18 km from Sapa town ). then begin trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black Hmong village of Sin Chai.  Return to Sapa. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa

Day 11:  Lao Chai – Ta Van- Sapa (8km), intermediate Trek, 4hours  (B, L)

Relax for a while at a local restaurant then begin trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black Hmong village Lao Chai San, Lao Chai. We then continue to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people.  Driving back to Sapa. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa.

Day 12: Sapa – Ban Khoang (9km) intermediate Trek, 4 hours (B, L)

After breakfast, we will drive to ban Khoang and begin trekking down from here to the Black Hmong village Ta Giang Phinh. The scenery is breathtaking on the trekking way. Then we continue trekking until we meet our vehicle and transferred back to Sapa. In the afternoon you will have free time to experience the colorful Sapa before driving to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi. Stay overnight on the train. Arrival Hanoi at 5:00 AM the next day

Day 13: Arrival Hanoi – City tour ( B, L  )

Easy arrival in the morning transfer to Hotel for relaxing the full day visits Hanoi city. Lunch and Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14:Hanoi -Departure ( B )

Pick up at your hotel and transfer to the airport for departure.  End of service
