Kalaw Trekking To Inle Lake – 2 days. Inle Lake is located in the heart of the Shan Plateau. It is a beautiful highland lake, 900 meters above sea level. The lake is 22km long and 10km across and is inhabited by many different ethnic nationals of the area. The Intha people are the Lake dwellers who are unique for their leg rowing. Leg rowed traditional boats are the main ceremonial attractions of Inlay Lake.

Description:  Trekking trip to Khaung Dine. Your local station tour guide Ko Paul will introduce you to the villagers along the way and will show you the traditional way of life. At Supan Inn a Danu and Taung Yoe Tribal Village, 30 minutes away is a bathing place where you can have a bath and then proceed to Chaunggyi Pauk a typical Taung Yoe village, walk to the Hot Spa, the only place where you can go for a hot bath. Don’t miss the change

AY 01 :  KALAW – CHAUNGYI PAUK – KHAUNG (L,D)
Pick up from your hotel. Early morning drive to Thayepoo (appr. 1 hour), a Danu – Taung Yoe – Pa O village, the starting point for the 2 days trekking trip to Khaung Dine. Your local station tour guide Ko Paul will introduce you to the villagers along the way and will show you the traditional way of life. At Supan Inn a Danu and Taung Yoe Tribal Village you will stop for lunch. Only 30 minutes away is a bathing place where you can have a bath and then proceed to Chaunggyi Pauk a typical Taung Yoe village. The people in this village are well known for their bamboo mattresses and handicrafts. Dinner and overnight at Chaungyi Pauk (can not have a bath).

DAY 02 CHAUNGYI PAUK – KHAUNG DINE – INLE LAKE (B,L)
From Changi Pauk, it is only a 2 ½-hour walk to the Hot Spa, the only place where you can go for a hot bath. Don’t miss the change. Then proceed by bus to Khaung Dine at the north-western shore of Inle Lake. This Intha village is well known for the production of soybean Cakes and noodles. From here transfer by boat to your hotel.
