Day1. Bagan – Kanpalat by Jeep / 4 WD

A full-day tour starts with a private jeep or 4WD to Kampala. And then, take about one hour drive along the Ayeyarwaddy River to Chauk, where have sightseeing at the morning market. The next route is to drive to Seikphyu village which lines on the other side of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. After that, proceed to one of the big Burmese villages, named Kazunma Village, in the Magwe Division. After lunch drive among the forested mountains. It will be a good time to take photos of nature. Driving in the dry zone takes about 3 hours before we arrive at Saw, a small administrative town, where stop for a tea break. Then keep up driving for 12 miles to Kanpalat, a small administrative town of Chin People. Chin women with tattooed faces and ways of life of the Chin tribes can be observed in this small town. In the evening, check-in Pine Wood Villa which is situated among the pine forest about 3000 ft above sea level, for a night stop. The cool climatic condition on the hill will be lovely for you while seizing an enjoyable dinner and night’s stay at Chin Eco Lodge.

Day 2. Kanpalat-Mt.Victoria- Aye Village

Under the rising sun, scenic driving to the base camp of Mt. Victoria, 10 miles away from the lodge will be the pleasure of the day. The pine forest and sweet bird calls will fill the beauty of Mt.Victoria which is the most famous birding area for many endangered species of Myanmar. Following the arrival begin our hiking from the base camp, 6500 ft above sea level, to the top, 10200 ft. In the first 45 minutes of the 3-hour-trek, the quick step becomes difficult. Apply your photography at the top during the period of tea and snacks, and then return to our jeep within 2 hours. The trek down is much easier than the way up. ( If someone from the group can’t trek up the summit, please let us know in advance to rive to the top of the mountain by 4WD ). Continue to Aye Village, 12 miles far away from the base camp for one and a half hours driving by jeep/4WD. It is a small Chin village, meaning very cold in accord with her name, lying on the cliff of the forest hill. Once one of the British hill camps, there are still some colonial’s old and dinky buildings in the icy cold climate. After sightseeing in the village, in which women with tattoo faces as love tradition, in the evening, catch a pleasurable dinner and overnight in the village.

Day 3. Aye village- Kyardo village- Lote Pe Village- Mindut

The commencement is to be taken by scenic driving for a one-hour trip before we start our interesting trek to Kyardo Village. Experience an hour trek along the track down to a stream first and then another hour trekking to the target, Kyardo Village, for sightseeing of the villagers’ costumes and ways of living. One thing interesting to mention is animism and their beliefs on Sharman and Nat, as well as fortune-telling by Sharman and Chin traditional dance. After lunch and a short rest, continue trekking toward Lote Pe Village, an old Chin village lying on the top of the hill. Their tattoo-faced women, as well as interesting tradition, can be experienced. One and a half down trek to Check Chaung Stream follows after the sightseeing of the village. It is an hour’s drive up to Mindut by the time we meet our jeep on the bank of the stream. Checking in a small guest house and grabbing an enjoyable dinner on the hill including a night stay will be at the end of the day trekking program.

Day 4. Mindut-Ponetaung Ponenyar- Bagan

A morning of different cultures will make us a new taste while sightseeing around Mindut’s morning market. On the way back to Bagan, we will have excellent stops for photos among the pine-forest hills. Also, a short stop at the top of the Ponetaung Ponenyar mountain range, experiencing observing small stupas and Nat shrines at the summit, taking some photos as well as having tea at a tiny tea shop there are all included on our way driving back to Bagan as most other local travelers do for their brake time on that way. When finished lunch, we will operate undersized visits to some more Burmese villages on the time of our way. The sunset will be in Bagan. Our arrival time at your hotel in Bangan will be at the end of your wonderful adventure experiences with us.
