DAY 2: BANGKOK

After breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will come to your hotel to pick you up for the city tour.
Today we will make Bangkok city tour including the Royal Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho – the largest Buddhist temple with its colossal reclining Buddha. Lunch at local restaurant. Then visit take ferry to Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is situated on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location, but also because the design is very different to the other temples you can visit in Bangkok. Wat Arun (or temple of the dawn) is partly made up of colorfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water, next visit Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image, and then transfer back to hotel.

After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Transfer to Ratchaburi Province.
Arrive the pier, and then enjoy the scenery of rural life by long tail speed boat to the floating market. At Damnernsaduak Floating Market almost untouched by the modern world you will enjoy watching the farmers selling food, fruits, flowers and many kind of local products in their boats. Then visit handicraft home industry, next you will transfer to Enjoy “The Thai Village” at Rose Garden where you can see the ceremonies of monk’s ordination, Thai wedding ceremony the displays of sword fighting, kick boxing and flock dancing. Then back to Bangkok, en-route visit “PhraPathomChedi” – Big Buda in NakornPathom.

DAY 4: BANGKOK, CHIANG MAI

02 hours before your flight: Our drive will transfer you to Bangkok airport for your flight to Chiang Mai.
Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, meet guide and transfer to hotel for check in.
Late afternoon, you will enjoy the super northern Thai dinner with charming Fon-lep (Finger dance), Fon-tein (Candle dance), Ramwong (Candle dance). After Khantoke Dinner, enjoy yourself again by watching shows which are performed by the hill tribes Akha, Yao, Meo, Lisu and Karen.

DAY 5: CHIANG MAI

Activities: Visit some highlights in Chiang Mai
After breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will come to your hotel to pick you up and transfer to the mountain temple of Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most famous landmark of Chiang Mai. Its exquisite golden pagoda with 6 kg of pure gold at its peak and the rest plated with gold shines high over the city. The sound of temple bells fills the air, and the view down over the city makes an irresistible photo opportunity.
In the afternoon, start by tricycle (samlor) – un-motorized three-wheeler vehicle around the Old City including a visit of City moats and gates. Stop on the way to visit Three Kings Monument to pay respect to the First King of Chiang Mai, King Mengrai where the histories of Chiang Mai begin. Then visit City Art & Cultural Center (closed on Monday), The former palace of King Kawiroros Suriyavongse). Here learning about every aspect of the city from its pre-history to the present. See how people of different cultural origins and ethnic backgrounds have melted together to form a beautiful local culture that lies at the heart of the magic fascination of Chiang Mai. Continue to visit local market called “Waroros Market”, the lively market in Chiang Mai where you can explore fresh fruits, vegetable, food, necessary items for daily life, etc. Then return to hotel for rest of the day at leisure.

Doi Suthep Temple – The most sacred temples in Chiang Mai
Located at 15 kilometers from the city of Chiang Mai and situated at an elevation of 1,073 meters, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is one of northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. From the temple, impressive views of downtown Chiang Mai can be seen. This 14th century temple is filled with beautiful Buddhist shrines and auspicious relics; it is a beautiful example of northern Thai architecture. Visitors must climb 306 steps to reach the temple’s entrance but the views are well worth it! An easier, alternative route is available via a cable car ride to the top of the staircase for who don’t have much time.

DAY 6: CHIANG MAI, CHIANG RAI

Transfer:
Activities: Drive to Chiang Rai, Visit White Temple, Golden Triangle, Long Neck hill tribe villages
After breakfast at hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Chiang Rai. On the way, you will visit a hot spring. Continue driving for 1.5 hours to White Temple (Wat Rongkhun). Then carry on to the three country borders meet which called “Golden Triangle”, take long tail boat on Khong River.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, drive to Maesai, the Thailand & Myanmar border city. Finally, visit the Akha, Yao and Long Neck hill tribe villages on the way back to Chiang Mai.

Unique White Temple in Chiang Rai
Wat Rong Khun, better known as “the White Temple” is one of the most recognizable temples in Thailand. Designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai visual artist, the temple is filled with Buddhist symbolisms, from its layout, architecture, all the way to the ornate reliefs and mirror decorations. Wat Rong Khun is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. The white color signifies the purity of the Buddha, while the glass symbolizes the Buddha’s wisdom and the Dhamma, the Buddhist teachings.The temple opens daily from 8am until 6pm.Dress respectfully, take off shoes before entering a temple building are things to keep in mind when visiting any temple in Thailand.
