Cat Tien National Park Trekking Tours – 3 Days seek out exotic wildlife and colorful bird species while trekking through the lush, tropical jungle and exploring the Ben Cu River. On the return journey, stop in at wildlife rescue centers to learn about Vietnam’s environmental threats.

DAY 1 – Ho Chi Minh City – Cat Tien National Park: Meals [D]

Cat Tien situated a 4-hours drive from Ho Chi Minh City covers an area of 720 km² and protects one of the largest areas of lowland tropical rainforests left in Vietnam., On arrival take a light afternoon trek through the forest. Return to the lodge late afternoon. After dinner, take a night drive into the park using a spotlight to view nocturnal wildlife. Overnight at Forest Floor Lodge Cat Tien National Park.

DAY 2 – Cat Tien National Park: Meals [B, L, D]

Early morning depart for an 8 km drive then trek to Crocodile Lake with plenty of opportunities to see many varieties of birdlife and with some luck the Siamese crocodile. These crocodiles are critically endangered and this is one of the last places in the world where they live in the wild. Packed lunch is provided for the tour. Spend the afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at Forest Floor Lodge Cat Tien National Park.

DAY 3 – Cat Tien National Park – Ho Chi Minh City: Meals [B]

After a leisurely breakfast visits the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre or the Bear Rehabilitation Centre. The Centre aims to rescue and rehabilitate endangered bears/primates. It is hoped that after a time in the holding enclose that some of the endemic bears or primates can be released back into the forest. Return to the lodge before taking the 4-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
