3 Days Vietnam World’s Natural Heritage Hiking Tour to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park

Day 1 : Dong Hoi – Phong Nha ( L , D )

Our local tour guide will pick you up at Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh Province) and depart for Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.,This discovery tour will start at the famous historic road No.20, crossing the National Park from the South. You will have a chance to get more information about the geology, flora, and sauna system of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park as well as the heroic history of DMZ, which was badly damaged by lots of bombs during the war. Also, you will experience the locals’ daily life on two banks of the Son River and learn about ethnic minorities’ cultures. Upon your arrival at the dock, local ladies will take you upstream of Son River to discover Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park then head to Phong Nha Grotto. Located in the World Natural Heritage of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, this amazing grotto is known as the second biggest one in Vietnam and possesses geological values formed over 500 million years ago. You will enjoy its spectacular beauty with your own eyes and have unforgettable experiences on your Vietnam tour.

After a 2.5 – 3 hour boat trip, lunch will be served at the Phong Nha center. In the afternoon, you will turn back to a homestay. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a comfortable homestay.

Day 2: Full day activities tour ( Cycling, Kayaking, Walking ) ( B, L , D )

Do get up early and be ready for an exciting day full of outdoor activities. You will embark on a cycling tour with the local tour guide and discover the National Park through paths hidden beside limestone mountains and friendly villages. Stop to burn incense and listen to a story about the local ladies’ sacrifice at Eight Ladies Cave, then you will visit Paradise Grotto – Asia’s longest grotto with the magical beauty of stalactites and stalagmites. Lunch will be served at the service area in Paradise Grotto.,  In the afternoon, you will continue trekking then go kayaking on the pristine Chay River and discover Dark Cave. Relax by swimming in the Chay River or Mooc Stream.,  You will turn back to your homestay in the late afternoon and enjoy a delicious dinner with many local specialties.

Day 3: Phong Nha – Dong Hoi – Departure ( B, L )

Let your soul unwind in the peaceful and fresh atmosphere in the morning at the Village. It’s up to your schedule and transportation, our car and tour guide will transfer you from your homestay to Dong Hoi City. On the way, you will stop at the dock to visit a local fish market before going to the airport or train station in Dong Hoi. Tour ends here.
