01
Flight to Paro airport via Kathmandu/New Delhi/Bankok airport, transfer to Thimphu
You will fly to the Paro airport through any of the intermediate terminals above today. After arriving at the airport, our representative/guide from Asia experiences will approach you with a placard. With a formal introduction, we will take a cab to your hotel in Thimphu from the airport. The guide will provide you a brief introduction about this tour on the way to Thimphu.

Halfway to the Paro-Thimphu highway, visit the 16th-century old Tachogang Lhakhang temple by traversing an old bridge. From the bridge, enjoy the scenic views of the villages. Tachogang temple means the hill of the excellent horse. Continue to drive to Thimphu. After reaching the hotel, you can rest for a while and head for a walk around it. Explore some amazing places like Great Buddha Dordenma Statue, Thimphu dzong, Late King’s Memorial Chorten, Bhutan Postal Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, and Takin Zoo. You can also attend the evening markets here today. Overnight at Thimphu.

Thimphu-Punakha and Back
We will drive to Punakha after breakfast today. In the way, we will stop at the Dochula Pass at 3,100 meters. From this pass, we can enjoy a fantastic view of the Himalayan range centered by Gangkhar Puensum (7,570 m: highest in Bhutan). The Druk Wangyal Chortens lies in the pass which was made in honor of war soldiers of Bhutan. From here we will make brief stops at the temple of divine madman, and the temple of fertility before reaching Punakha. We will visit the famous Punakha Dzong here in the banks of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers and spend some time in this magnificent Dzong. Not so far from the dzong is Bhutan’s oldest Punakha Suspension Bridge. Enjoy the views from the bridge. We will then take a return drive to Thimphu besides the hills and rice fields and rest for the day. Overnight at Thimphu.

Thimphu to Paro, Taktsang Monastery Hike
We will take a short drive to Paro after breakfast and start our hike to the Tiger’s Lair, Taktsang Monastery. The main highlight of Bhutan, this monastery is a beautiful place to be with magnificent landscape views of the surrounding regions. Located at a sharp face of a high hill, the hike to it is certainly not easy. However, with our experienced guides, you will be assured of the safest route to it. Many legends are presented at this monastery with some claiming that one of the great Guru Rinpoche meditated in the caves of this monastery. After spending some time here, we will return to Paro. Then, have lunch and explore around Paro Rinpung Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan, and the old & sacred temple Kyichu Lhakhang. Overnight at Paro.

Fly to Dhaka (1 hour) and transfer to Hotel
You will take a flight after breakfast, leaving Bhutan to your next destination as Dhaka. After landing in Dhaka, you will meet our representative from Asia experiences. From the airport, he/she will transfer you to your hotel. Taking the time you have in the account, you can visit some of the significant places near Dhaka today. The colorful flower market, the Parliament House, Lalbagh Fort, the temple of Dakeshwari, Pink Palace (Ahsan Manzil), and Dhaka University are few places you can visit today. In the evening, try some Bengali style dinner in the local restaurants and rest for the day here. Overnight at Dhaka.

Flight to Rajshahi, Drive to Paharpur via Kusumba mosque and to Bogra.
We will catch a flight to Rajshahi after breakfast today and head towards Bogra from there. After landing in Rajshahi airport, we’ll start our drive towards the UNESCO world heritage site, Paharpur. In the way, we can stop briefly to visit the Kusumba Mosque. This mosque was built in the period of 14th to the 16th century, and the architecture and stone-carved art here reflects the components of that era. We will then drive to the archeological site of Somapura Mahavihara, which is the main attraction of Paharpur. The remains of walls enclose many statues, terracotta Plaques, inscriptions, coins, and ceramics, and more. Some of these even ages back to the 4th century or older. Here, a traditional Buddhist stupa lies in the center of the site. We can also visit the tribal villages afterward and witness the local lifestyle of Paharpur. From here, we continue the drive to the Bogra city. Overnight at Bogra.

Bogra Tour, Drive to Rajshahi and visit Puthiya temple.
In our Bogra tour, we will primarily visit three of the major archeological sites in this part of Bangladesh. We also can spend some time in the local village areas. Mahasthangrah with Govinda Bhita, Gokul Medh, and Basu Bihar are our three significant sites of today. Each of these three archeological sites holds many historical remains of the palace, monasteries, and people situated in these areas. These findings and components age from the period of the 3rd to the 7th century. With our local guide, you will know all the essential information about these places. Afterward, we can try some of the regional cuisines in the local villages surrounding these areas too.
After the Bogra visit, we will start our drive back to Rajshahi. After reaching Rajshahi, we will visit the Puthiya temple near the city. It is a complex with one of the most extensive collections of historic Hindu temples in Bangladesh. The temples here are centuries old with beautiful wood/stone carvings and sculptures. The architecture of Puthiya temple is inspired mainly by Jor-Bangla and Jaipuri style. After a brief exploration, we will return to our hotel in Rajshahi. Overnight at Rajshahi.

Rajshahi tour and flight to Dhaka
Rajshahi was a famous place in the world for the top quality silk production better than any place in Bangladesh. Alongside it, Rajshahi is also home to some of the most prestigious educational institutes of Bangladesh. Here, we will visit some of the city attractions and shrines before our flight to Dhaka. We will drive to the airport and head towards Dhaka. In the spare time of today, we can visit the old bazaar areas of Dhaka. In these areas, one can learn a lot about the history of Bangladesh. In the local fish market here is a place where you can try some delicacies and watch some local trading techniques too. Overnight at Dhaka.

Flight to Yangon and Yangon tour
We will leave Bangladesh and head towards Myanmar today. After landing in Yangon, our representative will take you to your hotel with a brief introduction and tips about the trip on the way. After some rest, you will head for a tour of Yangon city. With over 4,500 pagodas in the country, you will visit some of the major ones here in Yangon. Starting from the Sule Pagoda, you will visit the Bitahtaung and Chauk Htat Kyi pagodas next in the city. Towards the evening we will head towards the most popular and beautiful of all, the Shwedagon Pagoda and enjoy the sunset from its premises. Overnight at Yangon.

Yangon to Bagan by flight
We will start the day with a short flight to Bagan, the ancient capital of Burma. The city of Bagan is one of the most authentic places to explore the History, art, and architecture of Myanmar over the period of time. Over the plains of thick forests and pagodas touching the horizon, we will make our way to the best ones of Bagan. The Shwe Zigon pagoda, Gu Byauk Ki temples, and Kyansitta Umin are the sites to explore in the city. We will head towards the Nyaung U market and try some local delicacies viewing the local lifestyle. Tayokepyay Temple, Nandamanya Temple, Phayathonezou Temple, Layhmyetna Temple, and Dhammayazika Pagoda are some other places to visit here in Bagan. In the evening, we can take a short tour of Minnanthu village and return to the hotel. Overnight at Bagan.

Bagan to Mandalay by flight/ drive
We will head towards Mandalay with a 4-hour drive or flight. After reaching here, you will visit the Mahamuni Temple and Mahar Myat Muni Pagoda. The sculpture of Mahamuni Buddha in the pagoda is mesmerizing with some of the legends of this place aging back to 554 BC. After some time here, we will visit the Mandalay Golden Palace. The palace was the first one of King Midon, and the architecture is pristine. Next, we will visit the gold leaf beating workshops here and head towards Autmashi Monastery. This monastery is one of the most prominent centers of Theravada Buddhism in Myanmar. We will hike up to the Mandalay hill for the sunset and return to the hotel. Overnight at Mandalay.

Mandalay to Yangon and final departure
We can visit some other attractions near Yangon before our return flight to Yangon. You will depart back to your home from Yangon today in the second flight too. In the spare time before your departure, you can try some of the local snacks here. We will drive you to Yangon International Airport before the flight.
