TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Saigon – Long An – Ben Tre (L/D) (30-50 km)
8:00 AM our guides and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you for about an hour to the outskirt of Tan An. We cycle on a concrete path through rice paddy fields and stop at a small market to enjoy seasonal fruits. An opportunity allows you to experience the technique of growing many kinds of vegetables when you cycle past these fields. Transfer to restaurant for lunch. Bicycle riding in the afternoon is easy. We ride into villages with coconut trees on both sides along the country roads to Ben Tre city. Have a short transfer to home-stay
Day 2: Ben Tre – My Tho Saigon (L) (30-40 km)
Wake up early in the morning, you can take a 5-minute walk to the local market by the waterside. You might be surprised by the morning activities of the place such as; parents taking their kids to nursery school, old women bringing some hands of bananas to market, the young and the old drinking coffee by the sidewalk, and locals hurrying to get their farm products sold/bought. Get back to home-stay for breakfast and check out. We ride on dirt trails to explore bonsai, and nursery gardens, and race with local boats carrying baby trees to market. Lunch en route before going back to Ho Chi Minh City by vehicle.
