Phrathat Prasit is situated at Wat Phrathat Prasit. Originally, it was an ancient chedi whose date of construction remains unknown. In 1833, Phrathat Prasit got an extensive renovation, the design based on the shape of Phrathat Phanom, only smaller. The Phrathat’s base is 20.80 metres around the perimeter and 28.52 metres in height and contains Buddha’s relics, Arahants’ relics, soil from Buddha’s four major pilgrimage centers, and many ancient Buddha images. Phra That Prasit is a sacred place for those born on Thursday, and people believe worshippers who pay their respects here, will be successful in their careers and achieve their goals.
