TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Saigon – Tra Vinh (L/D) (25-60 km)
8:00 AM Pick up from your hotel then spend an hour driving on the A/C van to Long An province for a morning ride. Day 2: Tra Vinh – Soc Trang – Bac Lieu (B/L/D) (30 – 70 km)
Tra Vinh and Soc Trang are pleasant local routes. A dirty track is ideal for cycling, a concrete vein weaving its way through the vibrant green scenery. Ride on local trails through farmlands and little charming villages, Khmer temples, and primary schools in rural villages. After we have a ferry crossing Dung Islet to Da Ngai town, we cycle on a concrete path and cross natural creeks before we stop at Clay pagoda. We pay a visit to the pagoda before we have a transfer to Bac Lieu city in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Bac Lieu – Vi Thanh – Rach Gia (B/L/D) (30 – 80 km)
Vi Thanh is known as a new town after it was separated from Hau Giang province. It is almost a non-touristy city. The highlight of today’s cycling is to explore a network of natural creeks through removed villages and rice paddy fields, and small local floating markets on your way cycling to Vi Thanh. After we have lunch in Vi Thanh city, to avoid traffic in this city, we ride for 30 minutes on the A/C van to the outskirt area to start today’s afternoon ride. We cycle on small asphalt countryside roads, through huge rice fields, and villages along the river, and share space with locals on small ferries before we finish today’s ride at Ben Nhut. Then we get on a van/bus for a transfer to Rach Gia.

Day 4: Rach Gia – Tri Ton – Tra Su – Chau Doc (B/L/D) (35 – 80 km)
Today’s cycling will begin after the A/C van takes you to Urban Dist where you are ready for off-road cycling. We ride on a path, single track across villages and wild grass fields, and cajeput forests along the river as you race with local cargo boats. Then we follow a single track along the eucalyptus field to the mountain To which is near Tri Ton. Passing some pagodas through palm trees close to the mountain. Stop for lunch at Tri Ton town. Tri Ton Dist belonged to An Giang province which owned many beautiful mountains and hilly single-track and country back roads in the Mekong Delta. This is a chance you can challenge your cycling skills and enjoy beautiful roads; see farmers harvesting chili, tapioca, and corns. Then we carry on our cycling adventure on the back road to Tra Su forest. This is the best time you explore this forest included; motor boat rides, sampan boat rowing, see many kinds of birds, and bats when they are going back home to sleep. Have a short transfer to the hotel after visiting Tra Su forest

Day 5: Chau Doc – Cho Moi – Cao Lanh (B/L/D) (30 – 70 km)
Enjoy an hour motorized boat to catfish farms and floating village before you discover the lowland of Dong Thap province. To mingle with children on the bike on rural roads through villages the house on stilts. The drowsy former capital of Dong Thap province, Sa Dec is a comparatively peaceful city of tree-lined streets and fading colonial villas. The ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le is where we have lunch after your guide leads you cycling on village routes through the Sadec flower plantation. This afternoon, your guide will plan a shady unique dirt track so you can enjoy the scenery to Can Tho

Day 7: Can Tho – Vinh Long – HCM (B/L) (30 km)
The highlight of your last day is to have a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market. Then you will have a half day cycling to Vinh Long on a real back road before we return to HCM by vehicle. Tour The End.
